Selvage Eyeball

I thought I should show my other work-in-progress just to be sure that no one thought I was going too mainstream with my few attempts at doing something traditional lately, hee, hee ...

Anyway, here's the Selvage Eyeball.
It is still quite small for now.  I have to add a lot of white selvages to make it bigger.
Then I have some red selvages to make it look bloodshot so that it can be added to my Halloween Selvage Quilt series ...
And I don't often show pics of my sewing room so here's what one corner of it looks like.  You can see the #ScrappyTripAlong blocks on the wall too.

Eyeball, I like it. Are you going to make a second?

The orange really pops in your Scrappy Trip! Can't wait to see what other [dis]embodied parts end up on the quilt with the eyeball.

Love the selvedge eyeball deal and I'm not surprised to read your thinking of Halloween. It's great to know someone else has such an affinity for my fave holiday. I used to say: "My broom never went out without me!" haha. Used to drive one of the nurses I worked with nuts when I would request it off as my "Stat holiday". (She was a transplanted to Ontario, Southern Baptist), No religious spurns intended...I'm just telling it like it was. But you've got to love the freedom to think like a kid and be silly on Halloween. I'm also a big lover of the colour orange ; bright, cheery and a year long colour to work with.
Keep up sewing and quilting and writing and sharing with us. Cheers from Oshawa Ontario.
