Some Sunday Sewing Time

I have a bit of sewing time today .... hmmmmm ... what to do?
-
Above is priority #1, the borders on the Selvage Mummy.  He's looking good if I do say so myself.  Two more borders and he's done to quilt top form.  Then I'm going to quilt him myself -- very, very simply, and hopefully with invisible thread.  I'll be showing him all completed on the blog in mid-September, after he's up at the KVQG show.
Here's what's outside drying right now.  Pretty vintage pillowcases.
Next up for washing (I prewash everything) is the cute fabric above.  I bought this as the backing for my niece's I Spy quilt.
I'm planning on cutting more Halloween FQs from my stash to add to the ones above for the charity raffle basket my friend Tanya and I are making for the quilt show.
Oh yeah, and I could always take some time to organise these drawers ... or not.  ;-)

LOVE the googly-eyed flowers! Also love your bins of fabric - they look like mine! My plan for the rest of this afternoon is to clear off my cutting table for a challenge quilt I simply MUST get cut out. My cutting table is a magnet for stuff that gathers there from everywhere. I bet I find socks that have gone missing from the clothes dryer on there. Good luck with all your colorful projects!

Such lovely bright fabric everywhere - I particularly love the flowers for your niece's quilt.

(Did you tidy the drawers? LOL)

You should quilt the mummy with glow-in-the-dark thread. Wouldn't that be cool? Superior Threads has some. And what is that backing fabric with the smiling flowers? SO cute!

Those flowers with eyes are PERFECT for an I-Spy backing. You are so clever!
